The Venice-based artist Fulvio Bianconi (1915–1996) designed vessels, objects, and figures for various glass manufacturers over several decades. These works were produced in varying quantities and distributed worldwide. A particularly outstanding collaboration was with Paolo Venini, which resulted in several hundred designs. Over a period of thirty years, the collector couple Ursula and Rainer Losch assembled the world’s largest and most important collection of Fulvio Bianconi’s works, comprising around 300 pieces. This collection is now permanently housed in Rödental/Coburg.
